Hello, still raw and brand new to bareos.
I've been going through the manual and followed the tutorial including the test backup/restore sequences and I've added a client, installed the max os x package on the client, and configured it (as well as restarted it) but bconsole still insists that it's failing to connect to the client.
I'm including samples of what I did below
*configure add client name=Server1 address=192.168.0.5 password=dgksdg87sdf3423VVEhf8g987fg9s7f9cs
Which returned:
Exported resource file "/etc/bareos/bareos-dir-export/client/Server1/bareos-fd.d/director/bareos-dir.conf":
Director {
Name = bareos-dir
Password = "[md5]23c05dee31b9552d84d98eed5eb40ca1"
}
Created resource config file "/etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d/client/B101a-1.conf":
Client {
Name = Server1
Address = 192.168.0.5
Password = dgksdg87sdf3423VVEhf8g987fg9s7f9cs
}
So I copied the password [md5]23c05dee31b9552d84d98eed5eb40ca1 to the file on the mac os x client at:
/usr/local/lib/bareos/defaultconfigs/bareos-fd.d/director/bareos-dir.conf
Isn't this correct?
